Harsha de Silva is a Sri Lankan economist and politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Colombo District. An advocate for economic liberalization and international trade integration, he previously held various ministerial roles, including Minister of Economic Reforms and Public Distribution. He is widely recognized for his role in launching the Suwa Seriya 1990 national ambulance service. Throughout his career, he has focused on fiscal policy and public finance, serving as the Chairman of the Committee on Public Finance.
