Harshana Suriyapperuma
Profile
Harshana Suriyapperuma is a Sri Lankan politician and administrator currently serving as the Secretary to the Ministry of Finance. A Fellow of CIMA UK with an MBA and a PhD in business networking and performance, he previously worked in the private sector and served as the Director of Corporate Affairs for the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka. He was appointed as a Member of Parliament via the National List in 2024, representing the National People's Power, but resigned his seat in June 2025 to focus on his role as Finance Secretary.
