Haseenabanu Ismail

Haseenabanu Ismail is a South African politician and a member of the Democratic Alliance who has served in the National Assembly since 2019. Before her election to Parliament, she served as a councillor for ward 29 in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, having been appointed to the city council in 2013. During her parliamentary tenure, she has been a member of the Portfolio Committee on Health and was appointed as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Tourism in 2023. She was re-elected to the National Assembly in the 2024 general election.
