Helen Nakimuli

Helen Nakimuli was a Ugandan politician and volleyball player who served as the Member of Parliament for Kalangala District. A member of the National Unity Platform, she was known for her advocacy regarding anti-corruption, human rights, and the welfare of island communities. Beyond her legislative work, she was a dedicated athlete and a recipient of an ecclesial medal from the Eastern Orthodox Church. Nakimuli passed away on April 19, 2026, following a medical procedure.
