Henry Tumukunde

Henry Tumukunde is a Ugandan politician, retired senior military officer of the Uganda People's Defence Forces, and advocate of the High Court of Uganda. He served as the Minister of National Security from 2016 until his dismissal in 2018, and previously held key military intelligence and administrative roles including Director General of the Internal Security Organisation. In 2021, he ran as an independent candidate for the presidency of Uganda.
