Hiroaki Kuramitsu is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Tsugaru City in Aomori Prefecture. Born in Kizukuri-machi (now part of Tsugaru City), he graduated from the Meiji University Faculty of Agriculture. He began his career as a civil servant at the Kizukuri Town Office in 1982 and later served as the Deputy Mayor of Tsugaru City starting in 2017. In 2021, he was elected as the Mayor of Tsugaru City with the support of the Liberal Democratic Party, and he was subsequently re-elected to the position in 2025.
