Hiromichi Tsuji is a Japanese politician currently serving his fifth term as the Mayor of Izumi, Osaka. After graduating from Kyoto Institute of Technology and working in the private sector, he served three terms as a member of the Izumi City Council. Since his first election as mayor in 2009, he has focused on significant municipal reforms, including the restructuring of the Izumi City General Medical Center, the establishment of integrated elementary and junior high schools, and the implementation of a progressive personnel and salary system. He is also a visiting professor at Momoyama Gakuin University and has been active in various national mayoral associations.
