Hiroyuki Nakajima is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Akiruno, Tokyo. Born in Akiruno, he previously worked in the lumber industry before entering local politics. He served three terms as a member of the Akiruno City Council, where he also held the position of City Council Chair. In 2022, following the resignation of his predecessor due to a vote of no confidence, Nakajima was elected mayor. He is known for his interest in ayu fishing.
