中村健

Ken Nakamura is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Nishio City in Aichi Prefecture. Born in 1979, he graduated from the Osaka University Faculty of Law and previously worked as a civil servant at the Nishio City Hall. Nakamura began his political career as a member of the Nishio City Council before being elected mayor in 2017. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on public facility management, the implementation of partnership oath systems for same-sex couples, and local economic revitalization. He has been re-elected multiple times, most recently securing a third term in 2025.
