Holly Bruce is a Scottish politician serving as the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for Glasgow Southside since 2026. A member of the Scottish Greens, she made history as one of the first two Green candidates to win a constituency seat in the Scottish Parliament. Prior to her election to the Scottish Parliament, she served as a councillor for the Langside ward on Glasgow City Council from 2022, where she was instrumental in designating Glasgow as the UK's first “Feminist City.” Her political priorities include implementing rent controls, expanding free public transport, and advancing feminist urban planning. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Aberdeen and a Master of Laws from the University of Glasgow.
