Huub Hieltjes

Huub Hieltjes is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Duiven since February 21, 2020. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he previously held roles as a provincial council member in South Holland and as an acting mayor of Kapelle. His career includes extensive experience in public administration, having worked for the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration and the Ministry of Finance, as well as serving on the board of the Brabantse Delta water board. He holds a degree in tax law from Leiden University.
