Jagath Wickremerathna is a Sri Lankan politician, medical doctor, and medical administrator who currently serves as the 23rd Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka. Elected to the parliament in the 2024 parliamentary election representing the Polonnaruwa District, he is a member of the National People's Power party. Prior to his political career, he worked extensively in the medical field. He received his education at Gal Amuna Maha Vidyalaya in Polonnaruwa and Dharmaraja College in Kandy.
