James Boliba Baba

James Boliba Baba is a Ugandan politician and former diplomat who currently serves as a Member of Parliament for Koboko County. A veteran civil servant, he previously held several high-level government positions, including State Minister for Internal Affairs and State Minister in the Office of the Vice President. Before entering politics, Baba had a distinguished career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, serving as Uganda's ambassador to Japan and as Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations. In 2018, he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star by the Japanese government for his contributions to bilateral relations.
