Jasmina Hostert

Jasmina Hostert is a German politician of Bosnian descent serving as a member of the Bundestag. Born in Sarajevo, she fled to Germany during the Bosnian War after sustaining a severe injury that resulted in the loss of her right arm. She later graduated from the University of Bonn and became a German citizen in 2014. Before her election to parliament in 2021, she served as the president of the National Paralympic Committee Germany. In the Bundestag, she focuses on family affairs, women's rights, youth issues, and sports policy.
