Jean-Jacques Cloquet

Jean-Jacques Cloquet is a Belgian politician, corporate manager, civil engineer, and former professional footballer. Born in La Louvière, he pursued a professional football career with Royal Charleroi Sporting Club and RAA Louviéroise while earning a degree in electrical civil engineering from the Faculty of Polytechnique de Mons. He subsequently worked for Solvay, managed the Charleroi Airport as CEO, and served as operational and commercial director for the Pairi Daiza zoological park, earning recognition as Manager of the Year in 2019. Entering politics with Les Engagés in 2023, he was elected to the Walloon Parliament and the Parliament of the French Community in the June 2024 regional elections.
