Jeevan Thondaman

Jeevan Thondaman is a Sri Lankan politician and Member of Parliament who serves as the general secretary of the Ceylon Workers' Congress. Born into a prominent political family, he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Northumbria University in 2017. He entered national politics following the death of his father, Arumugam Thondaman, and was elected to Parliament in 2020. Thondaman previously served as the State Minister of Estate Housing and Community Infrastructure and was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2024 for his work in improving living conditions for marginalized communities.
