Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Manchester Withington since 2015. Before entering national politics, he was a councillor for the Old Moat ward on Manchester City Council and worked as an event manager and DJ. Throughout his parliamentary career, Smith has held various shadow ministerial roles, including Shadow Minister for Clean Power and Consumers. He is a vocal advocate for drug policy reform, co-founding the Labour Campaign for Drug Policy Reform, and has been active in parliamentary groups focused on mental health and humanism.
