Jessica Rose Epel Alupo is a Ugandan politician and educator who has served as the Vice President of Uganda since 2021. A member of the National Resistance Movement, she previously held the position of Minister of Education and Sports from 2011 to 2016. Before entering national politics, she served as a military intelligence officer and a school headteacher. Alupo is also an elected Member of Parliament representing the women of Katakwi District in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda.
