Jim Muhwezi

Jim Muhwezi Katugugu is a Ugandan politician, lawyer, and retired military officer currently serving as the Minister in the Office of the President for Security. A veteran of the National Resistance Movement, he has held various high-level government positions, including Minister of Health and Minister of Information and National Guidance. He represents Rujumbura County in the Parliament of Uganda, a seat he has held during multiple terms. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in Uganda's security and legislative sectors, having previously served as the first Director General of the Internal Security Organisation.
