Jimmy Dixon

Jimmy Dixon is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives. Representing the 4th district since 2011, he has been a prominent figure in state agricultural policy, frequently serving as the Senior Chair of the Agriculture Committee. A farmer by trade from Warsaw, North Carolina, Dixon previously ran for the Duplin County Board of Commissioners as a Democrat in 2008 before switching parties. Throughout his legislative tenure, he has focused on appropriations, environmental regulation, and rural economic development.
