Joan Phillip is a Canadian politician and Indigenous leader serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. First elected in a 2023 by-election for Vancouver-Mount Pleasant and re-elected in 2024 for the newly named Vancouver-Strathcona, she has a long history of activism in environmental and Indigenous rights. Before her provincial election, she served as a land manager for the Penticton Indian Band for two decades and was a candidate for the federal New Democratic Party.
