Joel Ssenyonyi is a Ugandan politician, lawyer, and former journalist serving as the Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament of Uganda. First elected to represent the Nakawa West constituency in 2021, he previously gained national prominence as a news anchor and television host at NTV Uganda. A member of the National Unity Platform, he has held significant parliamentary roles, including Chairperson of the Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE). He is known for his focus on anti-corruption efforts and public service delivery.
