Juan Jesús Vivas

Juan Jesús Vivas Lara is a Spanish politician who has served as the Mayor-President of the autonomous city of Ceuta since 2001. A member of the People's Party, he was first elected to the Assembly of Ceuta in 1999 and assumed the presidency following a successful motion of no-confidence against his predecessor. Vivas holds a degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Málaga and has maintained a long-standing political career overseeing the administration of the autonomous city for over two decades.
