依光晃一郎

Koichiro Yorimitsu is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kami City in Kochi Prefecture. Born in 1977 in the former Tosayamada Town, he graduated from the Tokyo Metropolitan University with a degree in economics. Before entering politics, he worked at Yorimitsu Tile Industry. He served three terms as a member of the Kochi Prefectural Assembly, during which he was affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party. In March 2022, he was elected as the Mayor of Kami City after defeating the incumbent candidate, and he is currently serving his second term in this office.
