菅家一郎

Ichiro Kanke is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Aizu-Wakamatsu, Fukushima, he previously served as the Mayor of Aizu-Wakamatsu for three terms, as well as a member of the Fukushima Prefectural Assembly and the Aizu-Wakamatsu City Council. During his tenure in national politics, he has held positions including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of the Environment and Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Cabinet Office, as well as State Minister for Reconstruction. Kanke is known for his conservative political stances, including support for constitutional amendment and opposition to the creation of female-headed imperial branches. He has been involved in controversies regarding political funding, though he was cleared of criminal charges related to political fund-raising irregularities.
