Kassem Taher Saleh is a German politician and civil engineer who has served as a member of the Bundestag since the 2021 federal election, representing the Dresden I constituency. Born in 1993 and raised in Plauen, he studied civil engineering at TU Dresden and the University of Cantabria. Since joining the Alliance 90/The Greens party in 2019, he has focused his parliamentary work on housing, urban development, and building policy. He is also an active member of the German Industry Initiative for Energy Efficiency and the IG Bauen-Agrar-Umwelt trade union.
