Kazuhiko Nakata is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Miki City in Hyogo Prefecture. Born in Nishiwaki, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Kyoto Sangyo University in 1995. Before his mayoral career, he worked as a secretary to House of Representatives member Kiichi Inoue and served three terms as a member of the Hyogo Prefectural Assembly. Nakata was first elected mayor in 2017 following a recall election and has since secured re-election, most recently winning his third term in 2025.
