沼田和利

Kazutoshi Numata is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Ushiku in Ibaraki Prefecture. Born in Ushiku, he previously worked in the plumbing and drainage equipment industry before entering politics. He served as a member of the Ushiku City Council and later as a member of the Ibaraki Prefectural Assembly for two terms. In 2023, he was elected Mayor of Ushiku, running on a platform that emphasizes education reform, childcare support, disaster prevention, and the revitalization of local tourism resources such as the Ushiku Chateau.
