相馬憲一

Kenichi Soma is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture. Born in 1957, he began his political career as a member of the Otawara City Council, where he served as chairman, before being elected to the Tochigi Prefectural Assembly. During his five terms in the prefectural assembly, he served as the 107th Chairman of the Tochigi Prefectural Assembly. In 2022, he was elected Mayor of Otawara, focusing on fiscal reform and tourism development, and he was subsequently re-elected in 2026.
