Yasutaka Nakasone is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Tokyo, he is the grandson of former Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone and the son of former Foreign Minister Hirofumi Nakasone. After graduating from Keio University and earning a master's degree from Columbia University, he worked at JP Morgan Securities before entering politics. Nakasone has held various positions, including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Defense and Director of the Liberal Democratic Party Youth Division. Politically, he supports constitutional reform, the strengthening of the Japan-U.S. security alliance, and the enhancement of Japan's defense capabilities. He has been elected to the House of Representatives four times, representing the Gunma 1st district.
