藤田謙二

Kenji Fujita is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Hitachiota City in Ibaraki Prefecture, having assumed office in May 2025. Before his election as mayor, he served four terms as a member of the Hitachiota City Council and held leadership roles in local business and civic organizations, including the Hitachiota Junior Chamber and the Hitachiota Lions Club. Professionally, he managed a family-owned hair and beauty business. As mayor, his policy platform has focused on social welfare initiatives, such as providing free school trip expenses for junior high students and subsidies for health checkups and vaccinations, as well as the modernization of municipal infrastructure and the implementation of autonomous EV bus services.
