Kunihiko Oshiba is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Born in 1958 in the former Akeno Village, he graduated from Asia University before beginning his career in the transportation industry with Yamanashi Kotsu. He served three terms as a member of the Yamanashi Prefectural Assembly, where he also held the position of the 128th Prefectural Assembly Chairman. After an unsuccessful bid for mayor in 2020, he was elected as the Mayor of Hokuto in November 2024.
