西野修平

Shuhei Nishino is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kawachinagano, Osaka. Born in Higashiosaka, he began his career at Fujitsu before entering politics. He served six consecutive terms as a member of the Osaka Prefectural Assembly, during which he was affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party and later the Osaka Restoration Association, before returning to the Liberal Democratic Party. Known for his involvement in local cultural projects, he was elected mayor in 2024 after running as an independent candidate while maintaining his party affiliation. Throughout his career, he has focused on regional revitalization and administrative reform.
