八谷恭介

Kyosuke Yatagai is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Shobara in Hiroshima Prefecture. Born in 1970, he graduated from the Hiroshima Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. Before entering politics, he worked in the private sector, including a stint as a ski guide in Europe and later as the representative director of Asunaro Kobo, a forestry and construction business. In 2022, he became the representative director of the Bihoku Forest Association. He was elected as the Mayor of Shobara in April 2025 after running as an independent candidate.
