Léon de Lange

Léon de Lange is a Dutch politician and administrator currently serving as the Mayor of Landsmeer, a position he has held since May 2021. In February 2026, he was also appointed as the acting mayor of Hollands Kroon. Before entering politics, De Lange had a professional career as a musician in a Royal Netherlands Army orchestra and later managed an international impresario agency. He began his political career as a member of the municipal council and an alderman in Weesp, representing the D66 party. He is married and has four children.
