Laila bint Ahmed bin Awad al Najjar

Laila bint Ahmed bin Awad al Najjar is an Omani politician currently serving as the Minister of Social Development. Appointed to this cabinet position on August 18, 2020, she has played a significant role in the administration's social policy initiatives. Prior to her ministerial appointment, she served as an advisor to the minister starting in 2014. She holds a Master of Education and was awarded the Second Class of the Civil Order of Oman in 2024 in recognition of her public service.
