Leon Eckert

Leon Eckert is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2021, representing the Freising constituency. A member of Alliance 90/The Greens since 2011, he previously served as a local councillor and third mayor in his hometown of Eching. In the Bundestag, he focuses on internal affairs, civil defence, disaster control, and emergency response, serving on the Committee on Internal Affairs and the Audit Committee. Beyond his parliamentary duties, he is active in volunteer fire brigades and disaster risk reduction organizations.
