Lyn Ackerman

Lyn Ackerman is a Welsh politician representing Plaid Cymru who has served as a Member of the Senedd for the Casnewydd Islwyn constituency since 2026. Before her election to the Senedd, she was a long-serving councillor in Newbridge, Caerphilly, holding office from 1999 to 2017. Throughout her political career, she has been an active candidate for Plaid Cymru, having contested the Islwyn constituency in the 2015 general election and the Torfaen constituency in the 2021 Senedd election.
