Macit Karaahmetoğlu

Macit Karaahmetoğlu is a German lawyer and politician who has served as a member of the German Bundestag since 2021. Born in Turkey and having moved to Germany at age 11, he is a graduate of Heidelberg University. Throughout his political career, he has been active in the Social Democratic Party (SPD), serving as the district chairman for the SPD in Ludwigsburg. In parliament, he is a member of the Committee on Legal Affairs and the Committee for Election Verification, Immunity and Rules of Procedure, while also acting as deputy chairman of the German-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Group.
