Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah is an Indian politician and social worker currently serving as a Member of the Lok Sabha representing the Tehri Garhwal constituency in Uttarakhand. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, she is the titular queen of the erstwhile Tehri Garhwal kingdom. She made history as the first woman elected to the Lok Sabha from Uttarakhand after the state was formed in 2000. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has been a prominent figure in regional politics, succeeding the legacy of the Tehri royal family.
