María Chivite
Profile
María Chivite is a Spanish politician currently serving as the President of the Government of Navarre. A member of the Socialist Party of Navarre (PSN–PSOE), she has led the party as Secretary-General since 2014. Her political career includes service as a municipal councillor, a member of the Parliament of Navarre, and a Senator in the Spanish Senate. In 2019, she became the first female President of Navarre to be reelected, continuing her tenure following the 2023 regional elections.
