María Rut Kristinsdóttir

María Rut Kristinsdóttir is an Icelandic politician serving as a member of the Althing, the national parliament of Iceland, following her election in the 2024 parliamentary election. She represents the Reform Party (Viðreisn). Prior to her entry into national politics, she held a prominent role as the publicity manager for UN Women in Iceland. She is recognized for her advocacy and public engagement, and she is a mother.
