Margaret Wheeler, Baroness Wheeler is a British life peer and politician who has served as a Labour member of the House of Lords since 2010. Appointed as Government Deputy Chief Whip in the House of Lords in 2024, she has held various parliamentary roles, including Shadow Spokesperson for Health and Social Care and Opposition Deputy Chief Whip. Before her elevation to the peerage, she was recognized for her significant services to trade unions, for which she was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2005.
