Mark Thomas Ryan is an Australian politician who has served as the Member for Morayfield in the Queensland Legislative Assembly since 2015, having previously held the seat from 2009 to 2012. Born in Nambour, Queensland, he holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland. Before entering politics, he worked as a solicitor. Throughout his parliamentary career, Ryan has held several ministerial portfolios, including Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Services and Minister for Correctional Services.
