Martin Whitfield

Martin Whitfield is a British politician who served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the South Scotland region from 2021 to 2026. Previously, he served as the Member of Parliament for East Lothian from 2017 to 2019. Before entering politics, Whitfield worked as a solicitor and a primary school teacher. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for disability rights, particularly regarding accessibility, and has held various leadership roles within the Scottish Labour Party, including serving as Parliamentary Business Manager.
