Masanori Katsuki is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Taku in Saga Prefecture. Born in 1972, he previously worked in the private sector and served as a labor union leader before entering politics. Katsuki served four consecutive terms as a member of the Taku City Council starting in 2011, during which he represented various political affiliations including the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party for the People. In September 2025, he was elected as the Mayor of Taku after defeating the long-serving incumbent, Toshihiko Yokoo, by campaigning on a platform of municipal reform.
