石川正史

Masashi Ishikawa is a Japanese politician and the current Mayor of Tsukumi City in Oita Prefecture, having assumed office in December 2023. Born in Oita City, he graduated from Hosei University before embarking on a career in broadcasting, serving as an announcer and director at Yamaguchi Broadcasting and later at Oita Broadcasting System (OBS). Following his media career, he worked as an executive for the e-commerce company cotta. Ishikawa entered politics in 2023, winning a closely contested mayoral election to lead Tsukumi City.
