前田正之

Masayuki Maeda is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Akaiwa City in Okayama Prefecture. Born in 1964 in what is now Akaiwa, he began his career as a local government official in Sanyo Town. He later served as the General Affairs Department Director and Deputy Mayor of Akaiwa before being elected mayor in March 2025, defeating the incumbent. Maeda holds a degree from the Open University of Japan and a master's degree from Okayama University's Graduate School of Social and Cultural Sciences.
