Masumi Yokokawa is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kaizu City in Gifu Prefecture. Born in Hirata-cho (now Kaizu City), he graduated from the College of Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University in 1995. Before entering politics, he served as an official in the Gifu Prefectural Government and worked as a consul at the Consulate-General of Japan in Brisbane. He was first elected mayor in 2021 and secured a second term in April 2025 with the support of multiple political parties.
