Melissa Lantsman is a Canadian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Thornhill since 2021. A member of the Conservative Party, she currently serves as the party's co-deputy leader and co-deputy leader of the Official Opposition. Before entering federal politics, Lantsman worked as a communications advisor for the Harper government and held senior roles in public relations and strategic communications. She is the first openly lesbian and first Jewish woman elected as a Conservative MP in Canada.
